A grenade is a hand thrown anti-infantry weapon wielded exclusively by Freelancers armored in Ranger-class javelins[1] which can possess various additional properties. They are primed by the user and then thrown toward enemies.
Types
Frost grenade
This type of elemental grenade is used to freeze enemies in place. It can also be modified to send out additional shockwaves after freezing enemies.
Notes
- Though an Interceptor is shown using a grenade in Anthem's first cinematic trailer, this was merely a creative liberty taken by the trailer's creators; only the Ranger possesses grenades in-game.[1]
