Description

This template is used for creating shorthand pipelinks to Wikipedia pages.

Usage

{{wp|<page title>|<displayed text>}}

Example

If the text to display (first parameter) is the same as the Wikipedia page title in question (second parameter):

{{wp|John Doe}} is alive.

... which results in...

"John Doe is alive."

If the two differ, however:

The {{wp|John Doe|unidentified man}} is alive.

... produces...

"The unidentified man is alive."
